FINAL MAPPING
Since COVID'19 started spreading, we are continously being convinced that our bodies are a threat for society and the world around us so we should protect the others from them. We should isolate ourselves from the world, we are dangerous. Our bodies take the burden of guilt, shame, fear. We are attacked daily by media that makes us hate our bodies and be afraid of them. That's why I decided to explore the relationiship of people with their bodies - physical and mental - and more particularly - how our bodies became a threat for us during this pandemic.

For mapping the results of the research I used the relation that I found quite intriguing - our bodies and minefields. I thought the way we feel about our bodies in this period can be compared to a mine that could erupt any minute so we don't move in fear not to activate it. Because if we do it could hurt not only us, but everyone around us. I researched into the way minefields are mapped and I found interesting results, from which I decided to use the small geometric shapes that usually represent mines on those maps. Each geometric shape represents one person who answered the survey - there are 3 groups of people sorted by the level of physically affectionate they are, and 3 mappings based on 3 differents topic related to the subject. I decided to use separate maps, as in the research I found there are a lot of ways to map mines.

The final mappings consist of 3 animated maps. Map 1 and 2 show a transition from before to after the pandemic and how people's thoughts and actions changed. The last one is about the interaction with the virus and it represents roads that people are 'trapped' in and keep going back and forth.
